चिंचपेटी हा खास मराठमोळा दागिना आहे. १६ व्या शतकाच्या उत्तरार्धापासून तो प्रचलित असावा. अनेक जुन्या काव्यातूनही चिंचपेटीचा उल्लेख आढळतो. चिंचेच्या पानाचा आकार असलेल्या सोन्याच्या पेट्यांवर मोत्याचे किंवा हिऱ्याचे कोंदण करुन व त्या पेट्या रेशमाने पटवून केलेला, वज्रटीकेसारखा गळ्यालगत बसणारा अलंकार. पंढरपूरच्या रुक्मिणी मंदिरात पेशवाईत रुक्मिणीला दिलेल्या चार चिंचपेट्या पहायल्या मिळतात.
